Victoria & Son was launched to showcase the designs that have evolved over the 80+ years of Frederick P. Victoria & Son, Inc. Some designs are new takes on items produced over the years - others are entirely new. Being a family run business provides a common thread and the shared experiences with their predecessors. This heritage is a unique resource and serves as a design reference and inspiration. Victoria & Son set simple quality expectations – to only accept pieces they would live with at home. Victoria & Son was established in New York City in 1933 by Frederick and specialized in unusual and high-quality English and Continental antiques. The firm also quickly began to offer full production capabilities for bespoke cabinetry, metalwork, finishing and upholstery. Now run by Frederick’s son, Tony, a respected expert in the field of 18th Century French furniture and decorative arts, and by Tony’s son, Freddy. They continue to offer unusual antiques, their own fine furniture, custom design services & production, and three generations worth of design experience and expertise.
